ABOUT

SINGER/ SONGWRITER/ MULTI-INSTRUMENTALIST/ PRODUCER/ ACTOR Nick Marzock brings soulful grooves to indie rock. Inspired by an eclectic array of genres including blues, alternative, soul, and pop, Nick derives his sound and approach from those influences, while adding his own edgy flavor to the sound. He has performed and recorded alongside some of the hottest acts and iconic figures in music of all time, and is driven by his love and dedication to music on stage and in the studio. He has recorded songs with legendary producer Nile Rodgers, opened for nationally-touring acts such as Sara Bareilles, Andy Grammar, Flo Rida, STYX, and more, and is the music director and multi-instrumentalist for multiple celebrity bands based in Los Angeles. 

 

Nick is an accomplished composer and writer for television and film, having recorded, produced, and engineered features and scores for major productions on FOX, AMC, feature films, and national commercials. As a producer, he has recorded and spearheaded albums for national recording artists, productions of network podcasts, and nationally-televised commercials. In addition to music, Nick is a voiceover actor who has appeared in major motion pictures such as War Dogs, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, and voicing commercial campaigns across the country, and has also appeared in major motion pictures and commercials as an on-camera actor. To round out the arts, Nick has developed into an accomplished sketch artist, providing him an artistic outlet to take his mind off of work.

 

Above all of his abilities, music always takes center stage. He was born to perform and write, as any live audience has seen through the years. Nick combines the passion of rock with the spirit of soul in shows from Los Angeles to New York, back to his hometown of Pittsburgh.

American Dad

Nick co-wrote (with Scott Grimes pictured left),  recorded, and produced three songs for American Dad’s "Top of the Steve" episode which originally aired on March 19, 2019 on TBS.

The Day that it Rained

Nick recorded his original song "The Day That It Rained in LA" with producer Nile Rodgers. The song premiered on the self-titled EP "Nick Marzock".

Mraz and Marz

Nick arranged, recorded, mixed, and produced Build-A-Bear Entertainment's "Hugs, Hearts & Happiness" compilation record for Jason Mraz, sung by the Build-A-Bear Kids.
